Qualification :
The candidates held a valid International Welding Engineer certificate from the certification body that accredited by IIW (International Institute of Welding)
Fabrication experience is required, preferably in the area of boilers, pressure vessels or piping
Knowledge on European Standard / Norm (EN) is preferred.
Welding standard: EN 15614, EN 287, EN 1418
Material standard, e.g. EN 10216, EN 10253, EN 10222,
Welding consumables, e.g. EN 21952, EN 14343, etc.
Able to join ASAP (1 March 2010)

Welding Inspector (Code : WI 01)

Requirements :
* Education : High School (min) plus 10 years minimum experience or technical diploma (D3) with 5 years minimum experience, or engineering graduates (S1) with 3 years minimum experience in welding inspection.
* Having valid welding inspector certificate for at least 3 years (e.g. from B4T Bandung, etc)
* Strong knowledge in Welding Inspection.
* Certified / qualified inRadiography inspection or Radiography film Interpretation.
* Certified / qualified in MT/PT Inspection.
* Familiar with relevant international standard (API, AWS , ASME, ASTM, etc).

A. CERTIFIED WELDING INSPECTOR

B. MATERIAL INSPECTOR

Requirements:

· Shall be certified as WELDING INSPECTOR through CSWIP3.0, CSWIP 3.1, AWS, &/or B4T. for ( Position A only )
· Diploma in Engineering is preferred, but not essential
· Having at least 2 years of experience in similar work / position.
· Should be able to work independently & consistently under a challenging onshore and offshore construction environment.
· Familiarity with international codes / standard is essential.

Responsibilities:
a) Perform daily welding ( pos. A) & material ( Pos. B) inspection including coordination of yard inspection activities for all ongoing projects.
b) Planning for inspection & related activities like equipment & manpower.
c) Maintaining a robust cross checking & monitoring on production floor.
d) Assuring that corrective actions & preventive actions are attended to, on time with adequate actions
e) Prepare timely inspection reports & documentation
