Due to our business expansion, we have established a new production base in the Lobam, Bintan in the Riau Province of Indonesia under PT Singatac Bintan. The production base is located within the Bintan Industrial Estate, a designated Free Trade Zone. We expect to employ at least 1000 workers directly or indirectly in Bintan.

HSE Engineer
(Riau - Bintan Industrial Estate, Lobam, Bintan)
Responsibilities:
- Implement effectively the HSE Management system to achieve an accident free working environment
- Ensure compliance of statutory HSE rules and regulations
- Conduct safety briefing, audit and enforce safety rules and regulations
- Conduct accident reporting, investigation and analysis
- Site assessment and inspection to ensure conformance with statutory and company regulations
- Assist in formulating and administering comprehensive accident prevention program.
- Contribute towards improvement in HSE Management system through campaigns, conduct of training and development of new systems
- Assist in updating management/employees/contractors on all HSE matters including any new legislation
- Assist in the investigation of all reported incidents and occupational diseases
- Liaise with external parties including authorities and customers on HSE matters.
- Training of HSE inspectors.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering of any discipline or equivalent.
- Min 5 years of relevant working experience in Oil & Gas, Marine Industries, Petrochemical Plants, and/or Shipyards.
- Preferably certified safety officer.
- Well versed with HSE rules and regulations including statutory regulations.
- Possess English language proficiency, computer literacy, written and oral communication skill, analytical skills, problem solving skills and customer focus.
- Applicants should be Indonesian citizens.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Accommodation within the industrial estate will be provided. 15 minutes away from 2nd largest town, Tanjung Uban, in Bintan. 60 minutes away by ferry to Singapore.
5 ½-day work week.
Shortlisted applicant must be prepared to attend a personal interview in Jakarta.
Successful applicant must attended induction training in Singapore for a period of 3 to 6 months prior commencement of work in Bintan. Accommodation/transport will be provided.
